Daiken North America currently offers a versatile selection of 10 Thermally Fused Laminate (TFL) finishes, delivering a broad range of design options to meet evolving market demands. Expanding on this lineup, two new finishes are scheduled to arrive in late 2026, which will further enhance the Pionite and Nevamar paper collections from Panolam. These additions will introduce fresh aesthetic possibilities and support designers and manufacturers in creating innovative, on-trend spaces.

  • Cathedral

    The dramatic cathedrals in this finish provide a sophisticated appeal. 12 Nominal Gloss Units. Coordinates with HPL Ashwood finish.

  • Chamois

    A low gloss satin finish. 12 Nominal Gloss Units. Coordinates with HPL Textured/Suede, ARP and Velvet finishes.

  • Crystal

    Fine pebbled finish, medium gloss – 15 Nominal Gloss Units. Coordinates with HPL Crystal finish.

  • Ironwood (IW)

    Medium gloss, smooth finish 37 Nominal Gloss Units. Coordinates with HPL Medium Gloss finish.

    This richly polished woodgrain with dramatic cathedrals has an elegant appeal. 37 Nominal Gloss Units.

  • Satin

    A low gloss finish with a slight textural touch. 17 Nominal Gloss Units. Coordinates with HPL Velvet finish.

  • Super Matte - (SM)

    An easy touch, non-reflective surface. 3 Nominal Gloss Units. Available in HPL and TFL.

  • Textural

    The subtle sheen and reflective qualities of this finish make it an ideal option for all designs. – 11 Nominal Gloss Units. Coordinates with HPL Suede or Crystal finish.

  • Timberline - (TL)

    A linear deep woodgrain with a balance of gloss and matte finish. 9 Nominal Gloss Units. Available in HPL and TFL.

  • Wood Essence (WE)

    The slight ticking detail of this natural wood finish adds depth and balance. - 6 Nominal Gloss Units. Available in HPL and TFL.
